Whistleblower Eric Hecker was in Antarctica for a year beginning in November 2010 as an employee of Raytheon Polar Services. He had access to restricted areas and labs, which all needed a plumber. He also made close friendships with the crew and scientists there, who let him in on the real research they were conducting—about which the public was being kept in the dark.

After returning to America, Eric kept up contact with these people and did his own deep research, as well, some of which he’ll be sharing in this episode.
