Real Werewolf Stories in History: Demons, Shapeshifters, or Dogman?

10/18/2024

Since Halloween is right around the corner, it’s a great time to present real stories of werewolves throughout history, such as The Werewolf of Dole, The Wolf of Ansbach, and The Greifswald Werewolves, along with more recent accounts of shapeshifters and Dogman. Are they demons? Are they shapeshifting creatures? What do Native Americans think of them? Why don’t people see them as often as they did in the past? Were people simply more superstitious in the past, or are modern people now afraid to speak out of fear of ridicule?

Join Ben Chasteen and Rob Counts from Edge of Wonder this Friday Night Live as they dive deep into the night, searching for the truth about werewolves.

Also on the show, don’t miss the weekly Mandela Effect (or “Bendela Effect”) with strange changes involving the Sydney Opera House, plus the Metaphysical Minute segment and more. During the “Dig Deep” Live Q&A segment, ask Ben and Rob your questions directly! In the fan-favorite Top 10 Weirder News of the Week, discover hilarious and intriguing stories, including Michigan giving out unicorn hunting licenses, mysterious ‘blobs’ washing ashore in Newfoundland, and the claim that King Charles once piloted a UFO.

“Dig Deep” Q&A: “Would you rather meet a werewolf or Dracula down a dark alley? What would you do, Chuck Norris kick him or run away?” “Are the Brothers Grimm stories just fairytales, fiction?” “If you had a pet werewolf, what would you name it?” “What’s the best werewolf movie?” “Do Bigfoot keep Dogmen as pets?” “Has John Vivanco remote viewed Dogman?”
