Have you ever thought about how much suffering drives human behavior? Or what causes suffering? Or why there is suffering to begin with? Pain and suffering is actually a major part of the human experience entering everyone’s life at different degrees and intervals throughout life. While some people feel the weight of suffering more heavily, or face it more courageously, other people don’t even realize they are suffering. But, one way or another, the inevitable unresolved pain catches up to us and we have to face it at some point. So what is the nature and origin of pain and suffering; and what are we doing to perpetuate it?
